Vintage Television
Teletone Model TV-170
A neat looking small TV from 1949. The CRT
(7JP4) tests good, complete and all original. Still has all it's original capacitors.
The case is sound, no loose veneer but the finish is poor especially
on the top.
Emerson Model 644 series C
Circa 1950, a good looking 12" table model. Reverse painted all glass
front in great condition. The CRT tests very good, complete with
original knobs and back . Still has all it's
original capacitors. The cabinet is quite good with a decent
original finish. There are a few scratches and blems but no loose
veneer or any serious flaws.
RCA Model 9-TC-247 Chassis KCS-34B
Circa 1949, a "classic" 12" set from the late '40's in very nice
condition. The chassis is very clean, has obviously been in a very
clean, non-smoking environment. The CRT is good and it tries to work
but suffers from insufficient vertical sweep. The underside of the
chassis reveals all original components so it appears this set has
not seen much of the service department folks. Cabinet is very good,
the top suffers from a few blemihes and the grill cloth has a small
tear.BR>
