Flat Screen Television

A standard television screen is curved, causing images to appear slightly bent. A curved screen picks up and reflects any light source in the room, such as the glare from windows or lights.

Flat Screen Television

Flat screen television offers a 160-degree viewing with virtually none of the reflection that usually presents a problem for viewing in well-lit rooms.

Not all flat screen televisions are perfectly flat; some still have a slight curve at the edges. A 'True Flat' or 'Super Flat' screen is perfectly flat all the way across the screen.

Flat screen televisions are generally more expensive than an equivalent size standard screen television.
